SCHLEICH Wild Life Red Panda

The red panda is a small mammal that lives in the eastern Himalayas and southwest China and feeds mainly on bamboo. Like the red panda from Schleich® Wild Life, the animal looks like a cross between raccoon, fox and cat at first glance. Despite its name, it is not even a panda. For the red panda a separate animal family was created with the scientific name Ailuridae.
